This book consists of collected stories about the concerts with Dissection, Satyricon & Darkthrone on April 6, 1996, at Rockefeller, Oslo. Linn H had the idea and initiated the entire project in 2018 – so calling herself editor here is an understatement. To quote Katakomben: "On Easter Eve 1996, a legendary concert took place in Oslo. Dissection, Satyricon, and Darkthrone played to a sold-out Rockefeller. This would also be the last time Darkthrone stood on a stage. 25 years later, Linn Halvorsrød has gathered 37 stories about this evening and the circumstances surrounding it. From people who were there. The texts range from a few sentences to several pages and both complement and contradict each other. The book was originally published in 666 numbered copies a few years ago, but now a new, revised edition is coming via HÆRVERK FORLAG with new layout/cover!"
Linn H rules... She got in touch with us regarding a new book project, and you can look forward (or dread) this new book of hers which will come out in 2027 . In the meantime, we are releasing Easter Eve 1996 for her here for the very first time in English.
